General Information.

Please Read Before Requesting a Quote

  1.  I am a fully registered and licenced home baking business. I comply with food standards Australia, NSW Food Authority and my local council.

  2.   I DO NOT provide allergy free products. The only bakers who can do this are those who do not use specific allergens in their kitchens. I use a range of ingredients and whilst every care is taken, I cannot guarantee that my products are allergen free. I can most definitely cater for those with intolerances and sensitivities. So please, if you or anyone who will be consuming my products has an allergy (carries an EpiPen and is at risk of dying) you need to understand do so at your own risk.

  3.  I am more than happy to be sent inspirational pics of other decorators’ cakes (actually, love it, so I know what look/colours you are after), but please note I will not copy another bakers’ work! Each decorator has their own flair and hopefully you are booking me because you like mine!

  4. I do not do "Burn Cakes". Bakers' insurance will not cover these. Please keep in mind if you are looking for someone to make you a burn cake that the baker you find uses all edible products (inks, papers, glues etc.) as you and/or your guests will be eating the ash produced.

  5.  I am a hobby baker and self-taught. I will not commit to wedding cakes, or any cakes over 2 tiers at this stage. I work with ganache and buttercreams, not fondant (other than for decorations).

  6. Orders need to be made with a minimum of 2 weeks’ notice and will only be accepted this late if I can fit it into my schedule and source products/ingredients in time.

  7.  I have my own recipes. I will only cook from my recipes. Yes, they are limited to a few basic flavours, but they work and are delicious! Please do not ask me to bake for you using a provided recipe.

  8.  I do tend to avoid dark colours for entire cake coverings when decorating as the taste of the buttercreams will change. Not everyone likes the taste of the colours, for example dark purples can give the frostings a slightly bitter flavour. As long as you are aware of this and happy to proceed, I am happy to decorate in your colour of choice.

  9.  Rest assured that every product that I cook is taste tested by myself and members of my family (I always make a little extra for this) so that I know that my products are leaving tasting amazing.

  10.  I am happy to work with artificial flowers, but not fresh flowers.

  11.  I don’t have set prices, as “one size” does not fit all. For a quote, feel free to contact me.
