My name is Jane, and I am relocating to Figtree, from the same house I came home from hospital to as a newborn in Thirroul, that my parents built on the block of land that they purchased in 1955!
I am a mother of 2 "adult" children, and a Registered Nurse who has clocked up over31 years!
Having grown up with parents who were pretty much self-sufficient I learnt to cook at a very young age.
I remember in my younger years visiting my Aunty and every time we did there were beautifully presented cakes, slices and biscuits set out on the table with the fine bone China tea pot with matching cups, saucers and side plates. One might now refer to this set up as a High Tea, as a youngster we called it afternoon tea.
I have only quite recently discovered a love of decorating, and I am completely self-taught (it is amazing what you can learn from you tube!)
